Over one year ago, a fundraising idea was conceptualized. We were ambitious and we had a clear goal but we weren't sure if we could make it a reality with our limited resources. We knew that it would be hard work and that gaining the support of our community was vital in order to make our vision a success. After endless months of planning, we have already received tremendous support and are so grateful for those who have decided to contribute thus far. Thanks to the help of generous companies and individuals like yourselves, our vision will indeed become a reality. For this, we are truly grateful.

 

For those of you who are considering making a contribution, let us tell you that each dollar donated and raised will go a very far way. The low cost operations of The Wasichana Fund will allow for the organization to help thousands of girls for years to come from this legacy event. Aside from extremely low operating costs in Kenya, we would like to reiterate that our entire executive team is made-up of unpaid volunteers, as is our event planning committee.

 

We look forward to seeing each of you at our event come October 2015 and if you cannot make it to the evening; we appreciate any amount that you generously contribute, no matter the size.
